Fundraising for Roy Wilcox Elementary School:
In terms of fundraising, the Christmas catalogues were all collected and the orders should be arriving in the next couple of weeks. The stikees went well and I hope everyone has their Christmas ones up! The Craft Fair went really well and thank you so much to those of you who donated baking. It went over really well!!! Smencils are still going well but we still have Christmas sets to sell. Please spread the word if you know of anyone who might want any and I could get them to them.
Thanks for all your support with everything!!! All fundraising goes straight back to your kids to try and make our school a better learning environment for them all! Through recent fundraising efforts, we are now able to purchase a "SMART BOARD"....(honestly, I am kind of technologically challenged)...this is an educational teaching tool to use in the classrooms. It will cost approximately $4,000. Also, we are once again supporting the Roots of Empathy program and the Get Green Program. Furthermore, we are currently looking into purchasing some more gym equipment. All of this could not happen without your support. THANK YOU!!!!
