2008-2009 Encorp Pacific Elementary School Recycling Program Has Closed.

Roy Wilcox is thrilled to start participating in Encorp’s School Recycling program. We’ve posted a bit of information and will continue to keep you posted on further recycling developments.

Reduce your ecological footprint while raising money!
Refunded money can be used for school fundraising opportunities.
This program does not cost you anything, and your school will receive a full deposit on all of the Encorp containers you collect.

Your school could win a cash prize of $750 for 1st Prize, $500 for 2nd Prize and $250 for 3rd Prize.

Prize categories will be separated by student enrollment categories of: 1 – 150 students, 151 – 300 students, 301 – 450 students, 451 – 750+ students

ANNUAL AWARDS

The Top Five schools in each of the four student enrollment categories will receive Encorp’s Environmental Award for Recycling. This prestigious award, supported by the Ministry of Environment, the Recycling Council of BC, and Encorp Pacific (Canada), will be presented to the Recycling Coordinators of winning schools at the end of the school year. Winning schools will be determined by the Online Container Collection Reports. School Awards will be distributed the week of June 29, 2009.

Encorp Pacific (Canada) is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit corporation, in charge of B.C.’s non-alcohol beverage container recovery system. Our mandate is to manage a consumer-friendly and cost effective system to recover beverage containers from consumers and ensure that they are recycled and not incinerated or land-filled. As part of an effort to collect these beverage containers, Encorp Pacific (Canada) would like to invite your school to participate in our School Recycling Program.
